MAPS

I direct the Modern American Poetry Site (MAPS), the premier academic website on modern and contemporary American poetry. Started by Cary Nelson at the University of Illinois in 1999, MAPS currently contains critical and pedagogical materials on nearly 200 poets and receives approximately 50,000 monthly users. I co-directed MAPS with Nelson from 2010-2020 and took on the role of director in 2021, with Nelson adopting the role of founding director.
